Like Yesterday

It's just like another night,
When despair hit her again
The words were same
The emotions were the same,
It's a boy who is new.

Just like another night,
She questions about herself
About her existence and her soul
Her intuition was same.
Her search for her is still on, I guess.

Just like another night,
Her words were the same
Addition in curse,
Addition in her sin
Subtraction in total people.

The island where she is now,
Is sinking fastly
How come she will save this time?
She is struggling again to find the way
A way to her not to him!

क्या फर्क पड़ता है अगर कोई तुम्हारे राज्य से नहीं है, उसका धर्म तुमसे अलग है, वो तुम्हारी भाषा नहीं बोलता, या किसी और जाति या समुदाय से है? क्या किसी को नीचा दिखाकर, उसकी आस्था पर सवाल उठाकर, या उसे अपनी सोच में ढालने की ज़िद से तुम्हें गर्व होता है? क्या इससे तुम्हारी पहचान ऊँची होती है? अगर हाँ — तो शायद तुम उस जगह पर नहीं हो जहाँ इंसानियत ज़िंदा है। पहलगाम की उस दर्दनाक घटना में जिन्होंने जान गंवाई — क्या हमने पूछा कि वो किस जाति के थे, किस धर्म को मानते थे, या कौन सी भाषा बोलते थे? नहीं — क्योंकि जब आँसू बहते हैं, वो न धर्म देखते हैं, न सरहदें। वो बस दिल को तोड़ जाते हैं। क्या बिगड़ जाएगा अगर हम किसी और के धर्म का सम्मान करें, उनकी भाषा में दो बोल प्यार से कहें, या उनकी पहचान को सहज रूप से स्वीकारें? कुछ भी नहीं बदलेगा — सिवाय इसके कि हम किसी का दिल जीत लेंगे, और एक और इंसान को अपना बना लेंगे। हमने ही तो ये दीवारें खड़ी की हैं — धर्म, जाति, भाषा के नाम पर। पर हकीकत में, हम सब एक ही मिट्टी से बने हैं — हम भारतीय हैं, और सबसे पहले — इंसान।

  I’m afraid— Not of meeting someone, But of the conversations that follow. For knowingly, or not, They probe, They laugh, And rarely do they regret. Instead, they mark my hurt with a shrug— “Oh, I was just joking! You took it too seriously.” I’m afraid— Not of what lies ahead, But of how my past Becomes a story for others to mock. A moment of pain Turned into their punchline. I do not fear my future. But still, they ask— “What if this happens to you?” Not to understand, But to judge. Rarely do they place themselves In the shoes of the questioned. And though I say I’m not scared, That I live a joyful present— Still, I fear The darkness in their thoughts, The weight of their words. For you never know What they’ll ask, Or how deeply it might cut.

O̶u̶r̶ Story

She asked him, What will be Our Story, after 5 years? He didn't answer her. But she knows that in the end She'll probably just not be on any page. Because everyone came and stayed She didn't exist! For him, he has everything, but not HER. She was probably a trespassing person. But even, if that's the case She hopes he cherishes his life With his Future SHE. For her, he is - In every Page, In every Chapter; Which completes her Book. And she hopes one day She will cross him on the road And will ask him To run his eyes on this Book. And as he ran his eyes, Over the Book,  To every Chapter To every Page From his lips to Her words She expect him to Smile. Just Smile :)
